The journey begins @BTLLAgroforestry – from soil to human health
The original article is in English
BaanThonglaanglai Farm (BTLLAgroforestry – in short) is the privately-owned experimental site in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. We started working on bioremediation of soil fertility and water reserve for sustainable agricultural practices in 2016.
The farmers lost 2 crops of rice during late 2015 to early 2016, before we started the BTLLAgroforestry field-monitoring Lab
The main objectives of the project: • to create resilience of farmers to the changing climate by implementing appropriate eco-friendly agricultural practices at the farm level to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, renew soil and water resources and help repair the ecosystem. • to engage the locals in producing safe agricultural produce in the targeted area and address eco-friendly agriculture.
